A 'Bible'?

If there is such a thing as a bible for Lightwave 3-D, it is this book. It's there for you when you're first getting started, there for you as an ongoing source of information, and there for you all over again after you finally 'turn a corner' in your understanding of Lightwave. I'm finally adept enough with the software so's to be functional. Looking back these many years, if I was to suggest a mantra for learning a top tier 3D app, "Start over." is apt. As you start over again and again, this book will be there for you.

Excellent book for beginners and pros. LW8 is old but a lot of the tips apply today (LW 11.6). Don't know about LW 2015 yet.

Good all purpose info, lot of good things.

Very good multi purpose info. Pre-version 9, did not cover some of the newer things, but I only go up to 9 anyway.
Again, shipping was faster than expected.
