Great read

Huge fan of Margaret Maron's books. This short story is lovely. A beautiful example of her writing that doesn't include a mystery storyline.

A story to think about as you age

I like everything Ms. Maron writes. I am a fan and I have most of her books. To re-read one of her books is always a pleasure and I totally enjoy her Knott "family". She enfolds you into her "family" as well as her story. Long may she write!

what a wonderful story!

While not a classic mystery (as Margaret Maron informs us in the introduction), I thoroughly enjoyed this story by one of my very favorite authors. I highly recommend it and all of her books.
